Synopsis / Summary / Plot

Deadpool #16 Synopsis by Peter Silvestro

Deadpool is in a stasis tank under the supervision of Dr Butler and dreaming of Thanksgiving dinner. Nearby, Butler is giving a tour of the facility to a Colonel Jong, emissary of the backers of his bizarre research. After Butler and Jong have left, Deadpool escapes from his tank and goes on a violent rampage, killing everyone he encounters. He makes it outside to discover he is in North Korea. Butler intercepts him and directs him to a nearby camp fenced in with barbed wire. There D-Pool sees the results of the scientist’s organ-harvesting experiments: a group of people who are warped amalgams of various X-Men and Deadpool. Butler distracts Wade by mentioning he has a child with Carmelita Camacho long enough to shoot him in the head….

…Deadpool wakes up in restraints; Wade is out of commission, so Agent Preston, who also occupies his head, takes control. ‘Pool is visited by the test subject who resembles Nightcrawler; his name is Kim and he bamfs the hapless mercenary out of his bonds. Preston leads them on a mission to the center of the complex, taking out the guards on the way. They come upon a sealed capsule in a darkened room. Preston opens it to discover…Wolverine and Captain America in stasis….
