Prologue: a gloomy Captain America and Bucky meditate on the horrors of the concentration camp they have liberated….
Now: Deadpool frees Cap and Wolverine from the tank where they had been imprisoned. Wade explains that they are in North Korea, prisoners of a super-soldier program run by the American Dr Butler, who claims to have Deadpool’s daughter (which he isn’t sure he has one of) captive. They also learn of the existence of the experiments combining Deadpool and X-Men DNA to produce some strange looking mutants. The two-and-a-half heroes link up with the mutants and try to capture the camp. Two guards inject themselves with a drug that transforms them into hulking monsters. The battle against the monster-guards becomes fierce and ends with the guards surrendering and revealing the whereabouts of their DNA samples and the camp where the mutants’ families are being held hostage. Wade searches the camp to find Dr Butler and learn the truth about his past but Butler is not there. They learn he is also at the other camp.
Meanwhile, at the other camp, Butler is ready to collect his payment and leave….
