Immortal Hulk (2018 series) #44

Henry Peter Gyrich has sent the U-Foes to defeat the Hulk: Ironclad beats up Hulk who responds by smashing a police car over him, trapping his arms. Vapor then steps in to force her disembodied form down Hulk’s throat, causing him to vomit. Vector takes over and uses his directional force like a sandblaster, abrading Hulk’s skin off and launching him into the river….

At Shadow Base Site G, Doc Samson (in Sasquatch’s body), Puck, and Shaman watch in horror as the glowing green creature who seems to be parts of Rick Jones rises from the Earth. Sasquatch’s instincts overrule Samson’s mind and he attacks the creature—but the creature does not respond. Then Charlene McGowan and Jackie McGee arrive, translocated from the latter’s apartment, having detected a Gamma spike. McGowan intends to fight the beast but Jackie restrains her: Jackie can see ghostly Gamma creatures surrounding them, including one that seems to be controlling the Rick-Thing….

The U-Foes locate the emaciated and skinned Hulk by looking for the impact crater in New Jersey. X-Ray is now given his turn at fighting Hulk and he unleashes his anti-Gamma radiation which causes Hulk to distort horribly, then burn down to some small skeletal remains….

Hulk and Joe Fixit wake up Below, where the massive misshapen form of the Leader towers above all….
