Synopsis / Summary / Plot

Incredible Hulk #114 Synopsis by Kyle Maurer
From his lair, the Mandarin has been watching the Hulk defeat the Sandman. So the Mandarin sets off to team with the Sandman to defeat the Hulk.

After turning back into Bruce Banner, he sneaks into Betty Ross' quarters back on the base. A guard sees someone at Betty's window, which sends Glenn Talbot in to check on her. Finding Banner with Betty, Talbot sends in the troops to restrain Banner, but he turns into the Hulk and fights off the military.

In the middle of the fight, the Mandarin hits the Hulk with a large gas rocket. He then swoops in with a helicopter, picks up the Hulk, and flies away.

The Hulk wakes up restrained in the Mandarin's lair, but once he sees Betty is a captive as well, he rages, breaks free and battles the Mandarin and Sandman until they are defeated. There isn't much left of the lair after the battle.

When the Hulk is about to leave, Betty stops him but the military arrives with Talbot and stuns the Hulk with a giant neutralizer ray.
