Synopsis / Summary / Plot

Incredible Hulk #607 Synopsis by Julio Molina-Muscara
Henry Pym, the "scientist supreme", Ant-Man, or Giant Man, is the next genius the Intelligencia, conducted by the Leader and MODOK, wants to capture. Pym knows this, and decides to attack them first in their own headquarters. But the Leader and MODOK cleverly diviate him back to where a group of heroes is being struck hard by the powerful Red She-Hulk.

Having beaten the Vision, and Wolverine, and effectively hurting Stature, the Red She-Hulk seems truly unstoppable. Spider-Man, and Quicksilver bring Amadeus Cho and the others out of her way, locking themselves safely behind a huge volt door. It is when Bruce Banner and Skaar show up to aid the heroes.

The Red She-Hulk finally goes through the volt door, and faces Skaar. Banner tries to use his teleporter to save everyone, but Pym disabled it; he no longer trusts Banner because he discovered of his secret meetings with the Red Hulk, who aided the Intelligencia in capturing Reed Richards.

This provides the Red She-Hulk a window to attack Pym, who falls unconscious, his brain fatally wounded unless Banner (and Cho) can save him. The Red She-Hulk, who was supposed to bring Pym back alive, fears what the Intelligencia would do to her for failing, and agrees on a truce with Banner to save Pym. It is when War Machine, Thor, Captain America (Bucky Barnes), Ms. Marvel, among other Avengers, abruptly show up, attacking Skaar. Cho outsmarts War Machine, and using his technology as an impromptu defribillator, saves Pym. But the brilliant scientist is under the effects of the neural anesthetizer used by the Red She-Hulk, and mistakenly reduces his form, becoming an easy target for the Red She-Hulk who captures him, and is teleported away by the Intelligencia.

Banner blames the Avengers (Thor, Captain America, Ms. Marvel, and War Machine) for Pym's capture; he had things under control under they showed up.

On board of an Avengers quinjet, Banner reveals to his team (Skaar, Amadeus Cho, Korg, A-Bomb AKA Rick Jones, Namor the Submariner, and Wolverine) that he has discovered Betty Ross, his wife, is alive. He plans to save Reed Richards, Hank McCoy AKA the Beast, and T'Chala AKA the Black Panther from the Intelligencia; even save the world. But his paramount motive is to save Betty. They're fine with that.

Meanwhile, Glenn Talbot takes Betty Ross through a corridor to safety. And the Intelligencia pushes its helicarrier forward with the ironic goal of "saving the world".

Story #2

(No Title Given)

Synopsis / Summary / Plot

Note: These events take place after the story in Hulk #14.

After the Red She-Hulk seemingly killed the She-Hulk (AKA Jen Walters), she continues her fight against Doc Samson since she suspects he is behind it all. But MODOK (watched by his partner the Leader) interrupts their quarrel, and offers the Red She-Hulk a chance to prove her new found powers in a real fight against Elektra and Domino (the later recently learned about the Red Hulk's secret identity by accident, and he wants to kill her for that).

The Red She-Hulk accepts MODOK's offer, and quickly intercepts Elektra and Domino, who initially thought were being chased by the Red Hulk.
