The Dark Hulk is on a rampage in
Central Park. Jimmy Woo fires adamantium shells at Hulk, piercing his
skin while Black Panther deploys nanobots to break down the ones in
Hulk and allow Amadeus to take control of his body once more. Inside
the Hulk's mind, Amadeus stops falling and is able to fly up to Hulk
and confront him but this only makes Hulk madder—both in his mind
and in reality. Ms Marvel, Spider-Man (M. Morales), and Silk try to
restrain him, Sasquatch, Thor, and Captain Marvel try to overpower
him but he only throws them all off. Within, Amadeus redirects the
nanobots to destroy those in Hulk's brain, ending the green guy's
existence—but it doesn't work. In reality, Hulk is still Amadeus
and Amadeus is still Hulk; if he “destroys” Hulk he will lose all
his resentment, guilt, and anger, which he once channeled into being
a hero as Hulk so Amadeus wisely absorbs the Hulk—everything he
hates about himself—and becomes a single person once more, a
leaner, nicer Totally Awesome Hulk. He allows himself to be taken
away in handcuffs....
Three months after, after his trial,
his lawyer Matt Murdock explains that he has to pay $10 billion in
rebuilding costs and Olympus Group will be liquidated but Amadeus is
free. Leaving the courthouse, he is met by Maddy, the Champions,
Black Panther, and Thor Odinson. He tries to apologize for everything
but instead they all go out to eat....
