Shadow Council agents John Steele and Max Fury formulate a plan to kidnap Shang-Chi away from the Secret Avengers….

Aboard the Quincarrier, Beast has discovered that Zheng Zu is the real name of Shang-Chi’s father and that he needs the Eyes of the Dragon to drain his son’s life essence and gain immortality. News then comes that Zheng Zu is on a violent rampage in the streets of Hong Kong. The team heads there and takes on the Hai Dai ninja order. They quickly discover that Zheng is an illusion to distract them from the real target. Meanwhile, Fury and Steele have boarded the Quincarrier and seized Sharon Carter. Steve Rogers regains the ship (with a little help from War Machine) to discover Beast unconscious and a message from John Steele, offering to trade Sharon for Shang-Chi….
