During
their invasion of Apogee’s shell company, White Widow Yelena Belova has been
electrocuted by one of the bad guys. The baddies pile on Black Widow and she
responds in a rage, striking out and blasting them with a major sting. Lucy has
followed Nat and Yelena and uses her electrical powers to restart Yelena’s
heart. Nat gives her parachute to Lucy and Yelena to jump to safety while she
goes without one and yet lands and has her car waiting for them….
Back
at the Web, they find Spider-Girl who has a sample of Apogee’s serum. Nat
releases Craig, captive scientist who was working for Apogee, explains the
situation, and has him work on an antidote to the villain’s serum….
The
next day: Nat, Yelena, and Anya are planning to crash Apogee’s mass dosing
event that evening. Craig is still trying to finish up the antidote with Lucy
to help. The latter two are left alone to work on their end of the mission.
Craig reveals that he was recruited by Apogee because he had the power of
usually making the right decisions. Lucy reveals her bitterness over being
given electrical power against her will and seems to be contemplating a suicide
mission against the villain….
That
night, Nat, Yelena, and Anya infiltrate Apogee’s compound; as the ceremony
begins, they leap in and take down several guards. Then Apogee takes a drug and
grows into a giant with flaming hands to face down his enemies….
