Synopsis
To prepare for their mission to uncover the source of the Madbombs, Captain America and the Falcon are subjected to brain-blasts designed to render them immune to the sinister weapons. Meanwhile, mastermind William Taurey explains to his military commander General Heshin that he seeks to obliterate American democracy and return the nation to an aristocracy such as prevailed when it was a set of British colonies. His motive? To avenge the killing of his ancestor in a duel by Captain Steven Rogers of the Continental Army, and part of his revenge will include tracking down and murdering Rogers’ sole descendant, the WW2-era weakling, Steve, who has been missing for thirty years (ha!). Elsewhere, an undercover Steve and Sam fly out to the barren area where numerous SHIELD agents have disappeared on the same mission. Their plane is brought down when it crashes into a giant and lands amidst an expanse of foam-rubber boulders. They are confronted by (normal-sized) guards and, after a brief but intense scuffle, are knocked out by a mindwave blast. Taken into an underground complex, headquarters of the Royalist Forces of America, they awaken to find themselves penned with a mob of freaks and monsters, who turn out to be the missing SHIELD agents after a trip to the "Treatment Room." Steve and Sam change into their hero costumes and take action to end this operation....
