In the early morning hours, Captain America leads a SHIELD assault on the Taurey estate. Technicians disable the sonic wave projectors designed to protect the inhabitants from the effects of the Madbomb. The assault tem then enters the grounds and takes down several guards….
Meanwhile, the Falcon is in Philadelphia, where the "Big Daddy" Madbomb has been placed in the upper floors of Taurey Towers. Overpowering the guards inside, he radios the strike force that the Tower has been breached. As the soldiers are transported in by helicopter, Falcon leads the final attack to locate and disable the Madbomb….
Back at the estate, Cap’s team makes its way into the main house where William Taurey is announcing victory to his assembled guests in the ballroom….
At the Tower, Falcon enters the room to find the Madbomb has been activated. Beating the technicians, he pulls the lever that decreases the weapons force as the sonic waves bombard his body and the shock begins to shake the tower to pieces….
At the mansion, Cap learns that Taurey is out to avenge the dueling death of his ancestor at the hands of Continental soldier Steven Rogers. Realizing that Taurey is after him, he steps out, announces that all in the room are under arrest and challenges the villain to replay the duel. As the two men aim pistols at one another at point-blank range, Cap taunts his foe but Taurey, who lacks the stomach to do his own dirty work, backs down.
In Philadelphia, Falcon radios Cap that the Madbomb has been destroyed and Cap responds that "the nation stands!"
