Synopsis

Captain America (2005 series) #49 synopsis by reviewer Julio MM
Rating: 3 stars

Sharon Carter lives in Virginia near Larkmoore Clinic, a clinic for older adults. Her aunt Peggy (she dated Captain America in the 40s), is a patient there. After a nightmare reminding her she killed Steve Rogers, Sharon visited her aunt. Peggy is a cute old lady who seems to have lost all recent memories.

Sharon finds David Cox, an old friend who reveals his feelings for her. After a kiss, they agree to remain as friends.

When Falcon arrives at Sharon’s after an unsuccessful search for the “Bad” Cap (the Captain America from the 50s), Sharon is in tears: she is pregnant from Steve Rogers (?!). Sam already knew about this.

Meanwhile, the “Bad” Cap visits aunt Peggy to get valuable information. The old lady believes she is chatting with the real Steve Rogers.

Finally, Sharon dreams with the Red Skull and Zola. They tied her to a table. A creature made of light appears.
