Thor stops on the street to look through the Daily Bugle and is surrounded by fans who want his autograph. Thor then departs for a secluded alley where he resumes the form of Dr. Don Blake. Discovering that his transformation was observed by a homeless woman, he tosses her some cash and takes his leave….
Elsewhere, Wilbur Day, broken out of prison by an inhuman rescuer, is given a new Stilt-Man armor by his benefactor and his superior, a mechanical voice. This new armor (replacing the original destroyed in CHAMPIONS #12) is made of adamantium. Following instructions, Stilt-Man is soon hijacking the cargo of a helicopter a half-mile up in the sky. Its crew unconscious, the copter spins out of control, heading for disaster. Don Blake spies it and quickly changes into Thor who brings the damaged craft safely to the ground. Learning from the pilot the identity of their assailant, the God of Thunder heads off in pursuit….
In Asgard, the Warriors Three return triumphantly with Loki’s three henchmen in chains. A troubled Odin thinks they may be able to solve another trouble in the Realm Eternal….
Thor catches up to Stilt-Man who fires rockets to ward off the hero. The computer FAUST (the real mastermind of this scheme), calculating that the mile-high baddie can not possible defeat Thor seizes control of Stilty’s armor and forces him to fight Thor to a very quick finish. As the God of Thunder surveys his fallen foe, he is suddenly blasted from behind. He sees his new enemy is Blaastar, the Living Bomb-Burst…and he is separated from mighty Mjolnir….
