Synopsis
As the story begins, Hulk is ripping apart security droids he’s discovered at a water reclamation zone that has been purchased by a mysterious party. Later, John (Hulk) Eisenhart returns to Lotusland Entertainment, his place of employment, to cash out his shares; he is accompanied by the boy Gawain, last of the Knights of the Banner, and wants to see the kid placed safely with a desert commune before he leaves. At his office, he discovers that the company is under new management and his boss Audra is no longer there. Elsewhere, Quirk, having deserted John and Gawain, returns to her music studio where armored soldiers break in, announce the studio has a new owner, kill her friend Stevie and take her prisoner.
Back at Lotusland, John meets the corporate mind control expert, Dr. Phil (!) and is required to recount what happened on that fateful day in the desert; he does so, leaving out some key details: John went to check out the Knights of the Banner for a virtual reality program he was producing; when he discovered they were conducting illegal gamma-ray experiments, he reported them to the authorities who came an slaughtered the entire group. John was exposed to radiation and became the new Hulk; with the last surviving Knight, Gawain, he managed to return to normal. As he speaks the building is invaded by the cyborg Draco and his security droids engineering a hostile takeover of this company to go with the music company and water reclamation plant. A battle between Lotusland security and Draco’s forces lays waste the building. Following his pledge to help those in danger, Gawain tries to protect John but is killed by an explosion. John turns into the Hulk, fights his way back into the building and confronts Draco…
