Driven by a personal sense of justice, Hulk sets his sights on Fort Cheer, a high-security prison protected by S.H.I.E.L.D., where his former college girlfriend Susan Jacobson is being held on charges of espionage. Hulk believes her imprisonment is unjust, and with Ulises and the Pantheon at his side, he prepares for a daring infiltration.
Nick Fury, ever the tactician, mobilizes S.H.I.E.L.D.’s full resources to prevent the breach. Surveillance, countermeasures, and elite agents are deployed, but none of it is enough to stop Hulk’s relentless advance. The Pantheon’s tech and Hulk’s brute force tear through the facility’s defenses, culminating in a direct confrontation with the prison’s inner sanctum.
As Hulk battles through layers of resistance, memories of Susan resurface—her idealism, their fractured romance, and the unresolved guilt that fuels his mission. The jailbreak becomes more than a rescue; it’s a reckoning.
Meanwhile, in a quieter subplot, Rick Jones proposes to Marlo Chandler, marking a tender moment of hope and commitment amid the chaos. Marlo, still processing the whirlwind of superhero life, turns to Betty Banner for guidance, unsure of what the future holds.
