Synopsis

Incredible Hulk, The (1968 series) #412 synopsis by Julio MM
Rating: 3 stars

The plot unfolds as the Bi-Beast, under the influence of the cosmic manipulator Stranger, arrives on Earth wielding the Family Jewels, a powerful bomb-like device capable of mass destruction. His mission: detonate it and fulfill the Stranger’s cryptic agenda.

Doc Samson attempts to intervene but is swiftly and brutally taken down by the Bi-Beast, underscoring the villain’s upgraded threat level. The Pantheon detects the anomaly but initially dismisses it, allowing the situation to escalate.

Meanwhile, Hulk and She-Hulk—reunited for a visit and still navigating their uneasy familial dynamic—are pulled into the crisis. Despite their differences, they join forces in a high-stakes battle against the Bi-Beast. Their combined strength and tactical synergy ultimately overpower the villain, neutralizing the bomb and ending the Stranger’s scheme.

The issue also includes quieter moments, such as the celebration of Rick Jones’ engagement to Marlo Chandler, adding emotional texture to the explosive main plot.
