The oldest from Them operates some controls and two metallic arms come out from the Flame of Life and grab the other two members of the triunvirate. The arms absorb their life energy, killing them. Bruce tries turning into the Hulk but the Flame stops him in mid transformation. The two personas, Banner and the savage Hulk, start fighting each other while the Flame keeps feeding from the Hulk's strength. The old man drinks an elixir and turns into Tyrannus, the ancient Hulk enemy! The Goldbug tries stopping the villain without success. But he is able to bath the Hulk in a gold cover. The cover prevents the Hulk from breathing, who fights back and eventually breaks free from the cover and the Flame's metallic arms. But Tyrannus shoots him with a powerful beam that throws him out of the building. El Dorado people witness their savior stand up while the Flame emerges from the building with Tyrannus on its side.
