Aboard the Troyjan warship, She-Hulk and A-Bomb are being tortured; she rescues him but is in turn shot down by the warlord ArmChedon who is using them as leverage against the Hulk. The villain injects them with poison and drops them from his ship and they return to normal after they hit, ArmChedon mocking the Hulk who had killed both of the bad guy's children. Hulk gets angry—Worldbreaker-level angry—and he turns back into Bruce Banner. He tells Amadeus Cho to find Monica Rappaccini so she can cure Jen and Rick from ArmChedon's deadly poison. Bruce reveals that it was his wish for his family to be cured; he hands Jen his glasses, Hulks out and tears into the villain; ArmChedon calibrates his hand-cannon to channel Hulk's gamma energy, effectively using his own power against him. Hulk rips off the cannon and fires it full in his foe's face. The villain has his ship fire a massive jolt that nearly kills Red She-Hulk. Hulk smashes ArmChedon into the ground with so much force that it threatens to destroy the rest of the continent with an earthquake—and even Betty doesn't know how to calm him down. Then the sorceress Umar steps forward to save their world....
Review: Hulk, Worldbreaker-level angry, is a horrifying sight to behold as Greg Pak found a spectacular way to top the previous issue and Pelletier and Miki provided a green-hot level method of illustrating it. This bit gave me chills. Plus we all wanted to see Arm'Chedon smashed into little tiny pieces. And that climax—Umar stepping out of a giant pair of lips onto a tongue—is the living end!
Comments: Arm'Chedon is a galactic warlord who first showed up in INCREDIBLE HULK #413 in the days of Hulk's connection with the Pantheon. Issues #631-634 feature interlocking covers.
