Museum Director Dr Sofia Di Cosimo explains to General Gladwell at the NATO Crisis Center (in an airship) what could happen if Pandora's Box is opened. Bruce Banner crashes the meeting, hoping to clear his name of the theft but the military tries to shoot him. He becomes the Hulk and smashes his way out, taking Dr Di Cosimo with him. As Amadeus Cho remotely shoots down the missiles fired at them, Bruce and Sofia share an intimate moment as they plunge into the river protected by transparent shielding. They enter a tunnel to the underworld where Hulk battles guardian monsters, while lamenting to Sofia how Banner is always chasing after Betty. Bruce and Sofia are captured by little minions and brought to Tyrannus and Betty. As Red She-Hulk, she insists Tyrannus get on with the plan: Tyrannus, last Emperor of Rome wants to open Pandora's Box to release Hope—and possibly restore the empire to greatness, redeeming his name. Sofia tries to warn him that the consequences could be dire but the palace is attacked by the armored Knights of Rome who carry off Tyrannus and Sofia with the Box. When the dust clears, Hulk and Red realize they will have to team up to save the day....
Review: “Banner. Bruce Banner.” And Amadeus loved it. Along with the tuxedo made of unstable molecules that fits snugly on both Bruce and the Hulk. As he romances an attractive woman from a foreign land. Too bad he turns down a drink. For one who has been a James Bond fan almost as long as being a Hulk fan, this story arc is a sheer delight.
Comments: Part two of four parts. Title is still a parody of the James Bond title THE SPY WHO LOVED ME. Tyrannus' account of his life as the last Roman Emperor is historically accurate. First appearance of the Knights of Rome.
