On board of a boat, the Incredible Hulk's team (Red She-Hulk, She-Hulk, Skaar, and Korg) is attacked by a huge deadly octopus. They are trying to reach the Hulk who had no better idea than to climb mount Olympus to confront Zeus himself.
At the top of Olympus, and after getting on his feet post being hit by terrible lightning, the Hulk states to Zeus that he isn't afraid of him. The God accedes to a bare hands fight with the strongest mortal there is. Logically, Zeus prevails, and finally defeats the Hulk. Hera learns that the Hulk's sacrifice was done for his friends, so they could get what they need. But Zeus denies that.
Hulk is chained to a rock. Vultures eat from his flesh for days (in a similar fashion to Prometheus). Not even the Hulk's awesome strength could save him.
But Hercules and the Hulk's team arrive to successfully rescue the Hulk. Zeus lets them leave.
Epilogue: In the Savage Land, Miek tells planet Sakaar survivors that he Hulk has abandoned them and swears killing him.
