Uncanny Avengers #13 Review by (September 11, 2016)
I quite like Ryan Stegman's art now he's toned down the lumpy anatomy.

The Cellar is the latest supervillain prison introduced in the current Amazing Spider-Man series. It was originally run by Regent so that he could use the villains' powers as his own. But now it's presumably just a prison.

Sebastian Shaw was a long-time foe of the X-Men, head of the Hellfire Club. But in Uncanny XM #534 Emma Frost erased his memories, and since then in Generation Hope and Avengers Academy he appeared to be a reformed character.
However in the post-Secret Wars world he seems to have regained his memories and his old personality. He was back with the Club in the new UXM#6, and was in the meeting of unprincipled businessmen in Mighty Thor #8.

Toad goes even further back as 1 of Magneto's Brotherhood of Evil Mutants in the original XM#4, mainly as someone for Magneto to kick. He continued a career of villainy but in the years preceding SW he allied himself with the X-Men.
In the post-SW universe he's been appearing in All-New XM where the Terrigen Cloud disrupted his life with the X-Men. He tried to kill the time-displaced young Cyclops hoping that would change the timeline for the better.

Synopsis / Summary / Plot

Uncanny Avengers #13 Synopsis by Rob Johnson
Deadpool remembers seeing Hawkeye kill Bruce Banner and get arrested for it (Civil War II #3). He now discusses what to do with Kate Bishop, the other Hawkeye, and then arranges a new identity for Clint Barton.

Next he breaks into the Cellar to spring Clint. But not without being seen by at least 1 guard before he knocks him out. He's got a new passport and some money for Barton, and a boat waiting to take them away. But Clint turns him down. He'll take his chances in court (and The Accused 1-shot indicates that he half-believed he deserved to be convicted).

Before Wade Wilson leaves Barton asks if he ever regrets any of the people he's killed. Wade answers yes, but it gets easier each time - ask the Punisher. Which at least makes Clint laugh. Then they shake hands and Deadpool makes his escape.

Meanwhile 24 hours ago Captain America answered a summons from Medusa to New Attilan to hear Ulysses' latest prediction. The X-Men will go to war. Cable shouldn't be in this time, and he's doing something with some questionable company now without telling Cap.

Steve Rogers and some armed police catch up with Nathan Summers about to board a private plane. Cap wants to know who's on the plane. Cable dismisses Ulysses' prophesy and refuses to answer Cap's question. If Cap doesn't trust him then he quits. Nathan enters the plane and Cap stops the cops from shooting.

Inside we find Rogue, and learn that they intend to find a cure for the Terrigen poisoning that is affecting mutants. And their allies are Sebastian Shaw and the Toad. Shaw claims to know where the cure is.
