Rick Jones, aboard the Pantheon facility, has a nightmare of the destruction of the Kree homeworld followed by Captain America turning into the Kree Supreme Intelligence. On the advice of Delphi, he contacts Cap to arrange a meeting. Captain America, concerned about the missing Diamondback (and a cranky John Jameson), meets with Rick at a diner in Arizona. They are interrupted—violently—by a giant robot (Warstar) crashing through the window and seizing Rick. Cap battles the monster while tossing Rick his Avengers card to escape on his skycycle. Cap realizes his foe is a huge robot controlled by a smaller one; he clobbers the little one, immobilizing the big one. Meanwhile, the skycycle is grabbed by a tractor beam and Rick is drawn aboard a Shi’ar ship for interrogation….
Epilogue: the Supreme Intelligence reaches mentally into a Kree recycling center and animates a robot to be his surrogate Supremor, first champion of his Starforce….
