Synopsis

Dr. Nightshade has injected Captain America with her serum and he transforms into a werewolf but one with super-strength due to a new formula she is using. Capwolf breaks loose from his bonds and flees into the street where he terrorizes the citizens and vanishes into the woods....

In Central Park, Bernie Rosenthal has accompanied Jarvis and his charge, the semi-catatonic Dennis “D-Man” Dunphy on a walk. When Jarvis has to head back to the mansion, Bernie volunteers to stay with Dennis. Bernie's purse is snatched and she takes off in pursuit of the thief who gets away. When she returns Dennis is nowhere in sight....

In Starkesboro, Dr Druid investigates a church which has been outfitted as a druidic shrine. There he is confronted by Dredmund and a battle of minds results. Suspecting that the reconstituted Moonstone is the source of the villain's powers, Dr. Druid is distracted for a split second which is all Dredmund needs to overpower him mentally....

In the woods, Capwolf is surrounded by a band of werewolves hunting him; the Star-Spangled Wolfman escapes from them and also defeats both Wolverine and Moonhunter. Returning to the town, Capwolf is lured into captivity by Nightshade's pheromones....

Synopsis: Security Chief Michael O'Brien catches Diamondback breaking into the medlab at Avengers HQ; she spins a yarn claiming that the bags of Captain America's Super-Soldier blood will be used as bait to catch a villain. Michael gives her the benefit of the doubt, signs her out, and she rejoins Crossbones. They drive cross-country to the Red Skull's Rocky Mountain lair where the baddie is going to use Diamond and the blood samples to buy his way back into the Skull's good graces. As they scale the mountain to the remote entrance they are challenged by Cutthroat, Jack O'Lantern, and Blackwing....
