Thor #20 Review by (January 5, 2022)

Review: Another apocalyptic issue in the career of Thor is overwhelming and ends on a surprising note that should make the next issue a marvel. Little more to say here.

Comments: Cameo by Angela.

Synopsis / Summary / Plot

Thor #20 Synopsis by Peter Silvestro

The mysterious God of Hammers wreaks death and destruction across the Ten Realms….

Thor gives honorable burials to all who fell in Nidavellir, land of the Dwarves, ending with their great craftsman Eitri who forged Mjolnir. Odin mocks Thor for his inaction so Thor punches him across the plain for his disrespect. Thor accuses Odin of ruining everything he touches which Odin already knows. Suddenly they are transported to Jotunheim where Loki shows them the devastation caused by Mjolnir. Loki reveals what he has learned about the God of Hammers which is not much: the God of Hammers will rise, burn the Ten Realms, take the last King of Asgard and reshape the world. Sif arrives with Throg, who has made a great discovery…

…but then Thor is transported to a desolation that was once the town of Broxton. Suddenly there is an earthquake and he sees Mjolnir flying towards him—but it lands with a crash and takes on a humanoid form, revealing itself to be the God of Hammers….
