With Marlo Chandler fully recovered, the lingering tension around her mental state dissolves. Her brothers, the police, and even Captain America depart, leaving Rick Jones and Marlo in peace—for now.
Meanwhile, the Pantheon dispatches the Hulk to Loch Ness, where reports of a monstrous presence have stirred local panic. But instead of the legendary creature, Hulk encounters Piecemeal, a grotesque being with Absorbing Man-like powers, capable of mimicking the properties of anything he touches. Piecemeal is no myth—he’s a product of the Red Skull’s twisted experiments in the Amazon, now loose and dangerous.
As Hulk battles the creature, he’s struck from behind by Madman, the gamma-irradiated lunatic with a personal vendetta and a penchant for chaos. The ambush leaves Hulk vulnerable, setting the stage for a brutal confrontation that blends science-gone-wrong with psychological warfare. The Loch becomes a battleground, and Hulk finds himself caught between two monsters—one born of experimentation, the other of madness.
