Trapped in tightly wrapped living Plastithene by the Leader, the Hulk struggles to break free only to have his power cause the Plastithene to wrap around him more tightly. The Hulk gets angrier and angrier, vowing to never give up. Get angrier and stronger. He eventually breaks free!

In fear of his valuable equipment being damaged, the Leader transports the Hulk and the Super Humanoid to a distant volcanic isle to battle. A fantastic battle ensues with the Hulk struggling to defeat the Super Humanoid. Eventually, the Hulk dives at the Super Humanoid, tacking him. The Hulk grabs an ankle and slings the Super Humanoid around at super speed and then flings him miles off into the distance, right into the heart of a volcano. The Hulk then summons tremendous strength to smash down with a mighty THOOOOM on the isle, causing the entire isle to erupt with volcanic matter as the Hulk leaps off the isle to safety.

The Hulk smashes back onto the Thunderbolt Ross‘ base and heads after the Leader. Betty Ross stops the Hulk and reminds him that there are missiles that need to be stopped. Betty gets the Hulk to relax enough to transform back into his puny (but genius) Bruce Banner self.

Together, they head off to another lab where Bruce fires off another rocket to intercept the rocket the Leader fired. The strain causes Banner to change back into the Hulk, who goes after the Leader, only to discover he launched yet another missile!

Wasting no time, the Hulk leaps onto the missile and redirects it away from a city. While leaping away from it, the missile explodes, knocking out the Hulk, who lands in the ocean and sinks!

Back at the base, the Leader escapes, untroubled, as the Hulk is not around.
