Synopsis / Summary / Plot

Incredible Hulk #377 Synopsis by Julio Molina-Muscara
In a hypnotic session directed by Doc Samson, the three Banner personas: Bruce, the green Hulk and the gray Hulk, are attacked by their greatest fear: Brian Banner (Bruce's father). Brian is shown as a demon monster. Both Hulks can do nothing against the power of pa. The session suffers a break. But it continues thanks to the Ringmaster's hypnotic talent. The new intent to stop Brian also fails but Bruce manages to conquer his fear, avoiding all feeling. Brian disappears and his place is taken by Rebecca Banner (Bruce's mom). She asks the two Hulks to merge with Bruce. So they do. The result is a seemingly "merged" Hulk, with the three main personas fused together. (It is later revealed that this new Hulk is a new persona called the Professor Hulk). The new Hulk is green, bigger and taller than the green or gray Hulks, has Banner's intellect and a combination of both Hulk's personalities. When Betty Ross sees him for the first time, her reaction is of dissaproval.
