Synopsis / Summary / Plot

Incredible Hulk #25 Synopsis by Julio Molina-Muscara
Beaten by pain, Bruce lays under the rain on a muddy soil among mountains. Immersing in his inner psyche, he chats with Mr.Fixit and the Professor about Betty Ross. The Professor tells him to let go the pain and look forward. But Bruce dissagrees, turns into the Savage Hulk and leaps towards his wife's killer: the Abomination. The former russian spy tells his library class students goodbye, like knowing the time for his confrontation with the Hulk was at hand. One of the students works for Thunderbolt Ross and shares the news with the army man. Hulk finds the Abomination near the lake he uses to rest and the battle begins. But the Abomination proves to be stronger, as he was when they originally met (TTA #90). Hulk bleeds in consequence of his nemesis punches. In the heat of the fight, they destroy a dam wall, causing the total destruction of a nearby town. But none are injured since the army had already evacuated the people as a prevention measure. Hulk gets real mad and that makes him stronger. So eventually the Hulk almost punches the Abomination to death until Bruce is able to control the situation, and turns back into himself. The Abomination lies almost dead. Ross and his men, who were watching every movement, gather in the spot and lock the Abomination with heavy chains. Bruce realizes that he was used by his father-in-law to get the Abomination. As so, Ross explains him that he just wanted to get who murdered his daughter. The Abomination is locked in the same unbreakable prison that Ryker used on the Hulk. Bruce visits Emil and shows him the tape of the last encounter between Blonsky and his former wife before he became a monster. This scene proves very painful for the Abomination, since he knows that he has lost his love forever as Banner has too.
