Synopsis / Summary / Plot

Incredible Hulk #30 Synopsis by Julio Molina-Muscara
Robert Bruce Banner is dying of amyotropic lateral sclerosis. Desperately, his psychiatrist friend Doc Samson contacts many top-guys like Reed Richards to ask for help but there seems to be no cure or doctor capable of saving Banner. Green locks and Angela Lipscombe visit their patient at their lab but he seems to look worse every day. Driving through his inner self, Bruce finds a spiral staircase that takes him to a mineshaft, source of a voice that calls him. Back on his bed, Bruce reaches a photograph of Betty and turns into the Professor, avoiding death. Doc Samson and Angela are surprised by the green giant who explains that Bruce is gone and may never come back. In its psyque, Bruce asks the Devil Hulk about the mineshaft. Holded by the Gray and Savage Hulk, the evil one changes the subject, explaining the atrocities he would do if he's realised. Meanwhile, the Professor visits the mineshaft and finds a very old and presumed dead enemy inside: the Leader!
