Synopsis / Summary / Plot

Incredible Hulk #89 Synopsis by Julio Molina-Muscara
Nick Fury, the head of SHIELD, tells Bruce Banner that an antiquated Hydra space station running on artificial intelligence has been floating above their heads since the 70's and it's evolved to a state in which it converts solar energy into atomic energy. Fury's plan is to shoot the Hulk into space and let him smash the station. Fury says that SHIELD tried to destroy the station twice but without success; the last attempt was catastrophic, the station reacted and caused the tragedy of Chernobyl. To save millions from the potential threat, Banner agrees to go. Up in space, the Hulk discovers that the space station is not Hydra's: it has a SHIELD logo on it...
