Review / Commentaries

Loki: Agent of Asgard #11 Review by (February 22, 2015)
Comments: On the cover, AGENT OF ASGARD has a question mark after it. When the gods returned from Ragnarok Loki stole the body of Sif as his; this was in THOR (2007 series) #4-602—which was only twelve issues, despite what it looks like. The title is a line from “Let It Go,” the immensely popular song from Disney’s FROZEN.

Review: The latest chapter in what could be called LOKI DISASSEMBLED ups the stakes quite a bit. Everyone but Odin is against the charming young trickster turned pathetic exile. And the story will only get worse as it goes on. Yet there is a hint of a loophole in our (anti-)hero’s fate in Sif’s lack of recognition of him as the real Loki. Al Ewing has ably continued the promise of Kieron Gillen’s total revision of Loki and I can’t wait to see what comes next.
