The hot-headed Wolverine attacks the Hulk, who gets mad and fights back. The ensuing battle spills out of the cave, down a steep incline, into a raging river and over a waterfall. On shore, the two combatants call a truce and make dinner of the dead bear. Logan gives Hulk a lift, and the truck runs out of gas. Stopping at a service station, the attendant holds Logan at gunpoint and phones the sheriff, saying he’s caught the murderer. Outside, in the daylight, Bruce Banner thumbs another ride.
