Marvel Comics Presents #45 Review by (February 15, 2010)
Though Hulk Hogan is drawn accurately and it’s obvious who he is supposed to be, the name “Hogan” is never mentioned in the story. The third of four stories in this issue; Hulk does not appear in the other three.

Synopsis / Summary / Plot

Marvel Comics Presents #45 Synopsis by Peter Silvestro
Wrestling champ Hulk Hogan wins his latest match and the referee proclaims him “the one, the only, HULK!” A disgruntled Joe Fixit leaps into the ring to challenge Hogan for the right to use the name, “Hulk.” Our Hulk smashes the pretender around the ring then hurls him through the roof so that he comes down in the home of a fan many miles away. Hulk then challenges all the other wrestlers pretending to identities they don’t deserve—Thor, Captain America, Spider-Man. They wisely decline and Joe Fixit is proclaimed the new champion, the real “Incredible…you-know-what.”
