Thor turns the now-powerless Brona and Magnir over to the police.
Meanwhile, Odin reappears in Asgard, having won the challenge against Forsung, who lost his life in the fight. Odin destroys Forsung's Living Talisman, then exiles Brona and Magnir to the Lost Limbo of Infinity Unending.
Locating the Earthbound Asgardians, Odin summons Balder and Sif. Thor, however, asks to stay on Earth. Angry, Odin allows it but strips Thor of all power except his natural-born strength.
At their circus, the Ringmaster and his crew need a new strong man to help in their theft of the Golden Bull, a priceless art object, since Bruto has injured himself lifting an elephant. Now unable to become Don Blake, Thor arrives, dressed in civvies, looking for a job, claiming to portray the Thunder God in his act. The Ringmaster hypnotizes him and takes him to a lead replica of the Golden Bull. When Thor lifts it and carries it sixty feet, the Ringmaster wipes his memory of the test and hires him, intending to kill him after he serves his purpose.
