Cap arrives at a Hydra waterfront facility as Protocide is inside wreaking havoc. Cap attacks Protocide, berating him for wasting his potential and becoming a killer. Hydra agents fire on them both, forcing the two super-soldiers to team up against their enemies. Review / Commentaries

Captain America (1998 series) #37 Review by (June 18, 2018)

Review: Cap's attention is divided between his rogue “brother” Protocide and his discovery that Connie's beloved brother is now a Bond villain. More action in this latest dust-up between the two super-soldiers but also Cap's efforts to reach a tender spot in his enemy's heart. Lectures don't usually work, especially when the listener can't connect what is said to anything he's been told about Cap. The oddest bit is Cap's musing on the limited roles of women in his day and coming to no point; perhaps writer Jurgens was having a politically-conscientious moment.

Comments: Cap is no fan of Snoop Dogg (referred to by his earlier name of Snoop Doggy Dog [minus a g]). Cap refers to two women Justices on the Supreme Court; at this time they were Sandra Day O'Connor and Ruth Bader Ginsburg.
