In the previous issue, Odin zapped the Hulk back to Earth, sending him to the middle of Times Square. The Hulk’s dialogue seems a little better. Also, while enraged, the Hulk transforms back into Bruce Banner as he hangs high on a building ledge. Hulk tries to fight back the metamorphosis. But Banner emerges, pulls himself up and rushes to hide from the authorities.

Thunderbolt Ross, Glenn Talbot, and Rick Jones are on a TV talk show hosted by Jack Klyne. They are debating about the Hulk and the army failures to capture him.

Meanwhile, an alien called the Space Parasite monitors the broadcast from his starship and heads for New York to catch and absorb the Hulk’s power.

Banner finds Jones’ apartment and watches Rick on TV, claiming that the Hulk is a menace. Rick then finds Banner in his apartment and tries to kill him to rid the world of the Hulk!

Suddenly, Betty Ross walks in as Rick fires the gun to the floor, unable to shoot his friend. Banner and Betty embrace as the Space Parasite projects a hypnotic suggestion into her brain, causing her to curse Banner. The Space Parasite shows up in front of them. Banner turns into the Hulk and starts fighting with the alien.

Meanwhile, aliens from the Parasite’s homeworld find the villain and decide to destroy him. After trading heavy blows, the Parasite recognizes he cannot defeat the Hulk and beams back at his ship. But his people had destroyed earlier the starship. The villain lies on a floating piece of his starship, waiting for his imminent death.
