With the Hulk barreling toward another New Mexico city, Doc Samson and the Hulkbusters scramble to intercept him. Their mission is urgent—prevent mass destruction before it’s too late. But the monster’s strength and unpredictability continue to outmatch their efforts.
At a nearby hospital, Rick Jones recovers from the gunshot wound inflicted by General Ross. Despite his weakened state, Rick urges Bruce Banner to take a step back from the chaos. Betty Ross, equally concerned, pleads with Bruce to embrace the fleeting peace they’ve earned. Reluctantly, Bruce agrees.
The newlyweds embark on a cruise—a brief escape from the weight of Gamma Base, the Hulkbusters, and the ever-looming threat of the Hulk. For a moment, they find serenity in the open sea.
But the calm doesn’t last.
As the ship sails farther from shore, Bruce begins to suffer a severe psychological and physiological collapse. Nightmares, tremors, and flashes of green rage threaten to consume him. The honeymoon becomes a ticking time bomb, with Betty caught between love and fear, and Bruce teetering on the edge of transformation.
