Incredible Hulk #11 Review by (January 8, 2019)

Review: Okay entry in the story arc: Kraven talks too much but we get the satisfaction of seeing his lights punched out. Makes good use of another offbeat setting but it's too “Planet of the Apes” to be all that interesting, though nothing is stopping J Aaron from bringing it back. The best part of the story? The gun that shoots bear traps.

Comments: “Stay Angry Part 4.”--Cover.

Synopsis / Summary / Plot

Incredible Hulk #11 Synopsis by Peter Silvestro

Kraven the Hunter is stalking the Hulk in the Pacific Northwest; when he encounters the Green Giant, Kraven shoots him in the face with a bear trap gun, followed by a gun that fires adamantium fishhooks and a quickly inflating balloon to hold Hulk immobile in the air. Bruce Banner is the one the Hunter really wants, as Banner is on a quest to find the hidden City of Sasquatches and Kraven can help him find it—for a price, that price being for Kraven to be killed by Spider-Man. Kraven then slowly and brutally kills a captive Sasquatch and its cries fetch an army of Sasquatches who take Hulk prisoner while Kraven escapes. Despite Hulk's insistence that he isn't working with the Hunter, they take him prisoner and bring him to their hidden city to face their justice. Kraven arrives, holding a young Sasquatch hostage and tells Hulk he can go. Jade Jaws gladly takes off—but he can't ignore the cries of the suffering Sasquatches and returns to beat the stuffings out of Kraven and toss him into the distance. The Sasquatches hail him as their savior; all this adulation calms Hulk down and he passes out...

...and awakens in a high-tech prison....
