Now: Hulk tries punching Bruce Banner
but his force field protects him; Banner drops the field only long
enough to shoot at Hulk....
Then: The newly-separated Hulk was
gazing at Banner in his newly-grown body in a tank of water when
Doctor Doom approached asking for his payment. Hulk realized that
Doom wanted Banner. Hulk hesitated but Doom advised him to merely
walk away...and Hulk did....
Now: Commander Amanda von Doom and
Mr. Gor are trying to puzzle out how to program Banner's gamma
bomb when they are interrupted by local natives who have also been
experimented on by Banner. The natives transform into Hulks and the
two agents open fire....
Hulk and Banner continue to fight in
the woods. Banner, outmatched, reveals that he has secret
compartments in the trees holding a number of advanced weapons. As
Banner fires each one in succession, Hulk demonstrates his
invulnerability to each weapon.....
Long ago: Amanda von Doom was born in a
Latverian prisoner, her mother dying in childbirth—yet she is a von
Doom....
New: As Gor defeats all of the
“Bannermen,” Doom finally gets the bomb programmed and they dash
away, yelling a warning to the Hulk as they go by. Banner runs back
to the lab....
Then: Hulk changed his mind and came
back to take Banner away from Doctor Doom, punching him out for good
measure. Hulk carried off Banner and dumped him in a deserted area;
Banner woke up and, seeing the Hulk as a separate being, didn't know
what was going on....
Now: Hulk follows Banner to the lab to
watch him die. As Doom and Gor are carried to safety by flying
robots, Hulk holds Banner, keeping him from shutting off the bomb
until it detonates....
