While Bruce Banner is being kept under heavy sedation at Sing-Sing prison after his previous capture, the two scientists which created the Rhino are hard at work on a new suit of body armor for the villain. Their goal is simple: have the Rhino capture Bruce Banner to further their own ends and fight the Hulk if need be.
They enact the plan while transferring Banner from prison to JFK airport. The Rhino rams the vehicle, then rips it open to grab both Banner and Betty Ross.
A remorseful Rick Jones arrives at the site of the abduction. He hits the getaway helicopter with his car, preventing the kidnappers from using chloroform on Banner and leading to his swift transformation into the Hulk. Sensing Betty Ross’ distress, Hulk forces the helicopter to the ground only to be attacked by the Rhino.
Easily getting the upper hand on his adversary, Hulk then rescues the kidnapped Betty and leads her to safety before heading once more into his conflict with the horned one. The battle soon ends when a mortally wounded Rhino attempts to gain the upper hand on the Hulk in one last assault. When the foe collapses, Hulk resumes his search for Betty Ross, only to find her at the hands of the hated army from which he rescues her. Hulk then leaps away with his prey, leaving the powerless General Thunderbolt Ross, Major Glenn Talbot and Rick Jones behind.
