Synopsis / Summary / Plot

Incredible Hulk #447 Synopsis by David Boeren
A circle of spectators hold a candlelight vigil around the Hulk's form, still trapped in metal. The army prevents anyone from getting too close, as there is some sort of energy shield around his body that incinerates anything before it touches him. When Betty Banner shows up, she is brought in to speak to Colonel St. Lawrence about the Hulk. The meeting is tense and antagonistic. Paris of the Pantheon is trying to negotiate a deal with the army to fill the void left by the death of the Avengers and Fantastic Four, when the Hulk begins to crack out of his shell! Gunfire begins, but one mighty clap from the Hulk throws them all into ruin and he begins to laugh. Betty runs up to him and tries to appeal to Bruce's better side, but he does not recognize her. Janis rejoins the Hulk and they leap off together into the night.
