Synopsis / Summary / Plot

Incredible Hulk #448 Synopsis by David Boeren
We open with Janis bathing in a lake while telling Hulk that he is stuck with her for the time being. At the Pentagon, Paris is proposing that the Pantheon can capture or kill the Hulk for them. As Janis tries to convince the Hulk that she has ideas for him, the Pantheon attacks with Paris and Colonel St. Lawrence watching by video transmission. The Hulk is easily beating them down when Cassandra unleashes a blinding burst of energy at him. When the blast clears, the Hulk is dead! Three shots through the eye directly into the brain from Jason. As Paris and the military celebrate, the real story unfolds. The Pantheon is explaining to Hulk how they slipped in a cloned duplicate so they could get him out to join them again. The Hulk refuses, and shocks the military by showing up on the doorstep of the Pentagon with a message for them. "Leave Hulk Alone" is no longer good enough, from now on all attacks will be met with counter-attacks! Meanwhile, the "Wildman" who appeared in the last issue escapes from the asylum and is planning a little SURPRISE!
