Synopsis

Incredible Hulk, The (1968 series) #446 synopsis by David Boeren
Rating: 3 stars
After the battle with Onslaught, the Hulk is unconscious. The army is clamping him to an enormous metal slab for containment, and he is leaking radiation all over the city. He is airlifted out by helicopter, but soon awakens and breaks free! However, he seems delirious and soon begins to mutate as his radiation level continues to increase, causing tremendous damage to the city. At Pantheon headquarters, the mysterious red haired young woman is making an escape. The military drops a giant anti-rad containment box on the Hulk, but his radioactivity is so high that it begins to melt. Finally, the box holds and the radioactivity dies off. Is the Hulk dead? The red haired woman eludes Ajax and slips out of the Pantheon compound. She is last seen hitching a ride from some hippies heading to the city to see the site of the fallen heroes.
