Doc Samson finds out that the Hulk is back in Earth, so he goes to the New Mexico desert and finds him. They battle and Hulk wins the fist round. Banner is able to trick the Hulk by creating illusions of enemies, like the Leader, Rhino, Abomination, MODOK, and Juggernaut. Hulk discovers that they are not real and looses interest in the battle. Doc Samson takes advantage of this and knocks the Hulk out with a single, incredible punch (!). Hulk falls unconscious and Doc Samson brings him to the new gamma base.
